The Pig & Bull Grill


The Pig and Bull Grill serves delicious southern-style breakfasts and made-to-order burgers, steaks, and Philly cheesesteaks. They are open daily from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Wings N Things


This restaurant appears small on the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Wings N Things is a restaurant worth trying! You won't be disappointed if you go with the boneless wings and fries or try another dish, such as the smothered hamburger steak. Wings N Things is an excellent option for a quick lunch in the middle of the week or a night out on Saturday or Sunday. Their servers are highly attentive and knowledgeable enough to answer any questions you may have about the menu. If you’re unsure what to order, give the lemon mild wings a try. They are tossed in lemon pepper after an initial round of simmering in a mild sauce.

The Hot Box

The Hot Box was so popular as a food truck that they set up an entire outdoor cafe to satisfy the many regulars who wanted to come and enjoy their steak burgers and shrimp tacos. They also serve a delicious Pimento grilled cheese sandwich and a variety of excellent seafood plates. Their homemade biscuits taste like something you thought only your mother and grandmother knew how to make! The Hot Box is closed on weekends but opens at 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. The restaurant closes at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and stays open until 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.

China Restaurant


You’ll never leave China Restaurant disappointed! They are open daily for lunch and dinner and remain open until 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings. It’s easy to pick up an order if you would rather bring food home with you, or you can sit down to enjoy their chicken with broccoli or the fried chicken wing combo. The family-friendly environment is popular among many dining out with large groups. They also serve wings with your choice of 18 different sauces. Options include sweet chili, teriyaki, honey garlic, and many other flavors.

Habanero’s Mexican Grill

Habanero’s is located on the southwestern edge of the intersection of Highway 78 and Washington Plaza. They are known for their sizzling fajitas and their second-to-none customer service. They are open daily for lunch and dinner except for Sunday, when they shut down at 4:00 p.m. to give their kitchen staff time to relax or spend with their families. Their dishes are high-quality and authentic. In addition to the fajitas, guests love the chicken chimichangas and the Texas jumbo margaritas. They also have delightful pork carnitas.

Padgett’s Country Kitchen


Padgett’s is closed on Monday and Tuesday but is open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. The food and service you’ll experience make the restaurant well worth visiting. They serve delicious hamburgers and fries along with top-notch breakfasts. Make sure you save room for the coconut pie after the meal. The food is crafted from scratch, and the service is prompt. The environment is pleasant and welcoming, and you shouldn’t be surprised if Padgett’s becomes one of your top regular choices if you move to the Washington area.

Big Chick


Big Chick serves fried chicken with crispy, well-seasoned skin. The meat is always moist and delicious, and you can count on your chicken to pair perfectly with fries or whatever side you order. They also have a staffed drive-thru in case you want to pick up some chicken to bring home or on a day in a hurry.
